Evening event cancelled!

Hi everyone,

Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to cancel our first planned evening event. Sad times.

We’ll be looking to host another one in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled.

The good news is that the main event in Saturday is still going ahead 👍 so we hope to see you there!

Our first evening event! 7pm on 17 January

Good evening!

As previously mentioned, we were looking to hold an evening event! This is purely a trial, and if it goes well, we will look to make it more of a permanent feature!

So, on Friday 17 January from 7 to 10pm, we will be hosting a more casual evening meet-up, where you can come down and play the games you wish to play! Your own Switch or 3DS isn’t mandatory, but it’s always welcome in case you fancy making that Pokemon trade, or fancy that 1v1 on Smash Bros Ultimate.

All ages are welcome, and there will be refreshments available including party food, sweets, squash and fizzy pop! We appreciate that some attendees may not be able to stay the whole time, but even coming down for half an hour would be great and really helps us as a group!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Game on! 18 January, 8am – 4pm

This month, although it’s a new decade, we are bringing back the old and mixing it with the new!

We’ll be running tournaments for Mario Tennis Aces and Mario Strikers Charged Football. There will be a beginners and advanced tournament, depending on numbers and experience.

The Mario Tennis Aces tournament will begin at 10:30am.

The Mario Strikers Charged Football tournament will begin at 2:30pm.

The beginners tournaments will feature a smaller prize for winners.

In the video we posted a few days ago, we mentioned parents being dragged along to the event. Well, we have something for you. Yes, you are unfortunately getting involved.

The Parents Cup! We will be running a Wii Sports tournament for parents, with a prize for the winning parent. The tournament will be based on a points scoring system, where each parent will compete in bowling, golf and boxing! The Parents Cup will start at 12:30pm. Due to the fluctuating traffic in the day, we need to set a specific time for this so everyone has a chance to compete! So make sure you come along, compete and win a prize for yourself or your child!

The usual games, including Smash Bros, Mario Maker, Pokemon and Mario Kart 8 will still be available to play.

As always, food and drink discount is available through Caffè Nero upon request, so please speak to Lizzie or myself for it!

There will be sweets provided for free as well!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Thanks for coming!
